Shirley Rijkse

My passion is for helping others realize their goals. I achieve this as a faculty member of Central Carolina Community College and volunteering in a variety of community service areas. As an advocate of education and servant leadership; I especially enjoy participation in collaborative activities that support community growth and stability. I graduated from Franklin University, Columbus, OH, with my MBA. Started teaching at the community college in 2013. I am also certified in Human Resources with my SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) and hold a license for Assisted Living Administration in North Carolina. Toastmasters training has helped me to have confidence and professional presentation skills.
