Paul Jennison

I obtained a Bachelor of Horticultural Science (honours) from Lincoln University, New Zealand and followed this up a few years later with a Diploma of Teaching from the Christchurch College of Education. I taught in Auckland, New Zealand for 5 years before teaching in the UK for 3 years. I am currently teaching Science and Biology at Cannon Hill Anglican College in Brisbane, Australia. I coordinate Biology at senior level in the College and am currently a Biology Panellist for the Brisbane Central District. Having been nominated for an Excellence for Teaching award in 2015, in 2015 I embraced Flipped Learning and found it has revolutionised my teaching practice. I lead a Professional Community at the College who are interested in Flipping their classes and am constantly sharing my knowledge and passion for the practice. In 2015 I presented my Flipped Learning findings to the wider community at the Science Teachers of Queensland Senior Science Conference.
