Maryam Farahmand

I’m an instructional designer and technologist focused on Mobile learning and Flipped learning. I published many articles in Farsi and English languages, translated two books and conducted many interviews with experts in this area. I launched Moodle for the very first time in one of the best smart K12 schools in Iran with more than 1300 students and staff. In this position I designed an E-learning system which covers elementary, secondary and high schools. In 2013 I moved to Malaysia and started my master degree in IDT. As a first-year post graduate student, one of my exciting projects was designing a mobile application which empowers schools and educational institutes to own their customized platform. I continued my career as an instructional designer for Roshd-e Madreseye Farda which(School of Tomorrow) is a monthly educational, analytical and informative magazine for educators, teachers and ICT experts in Iran. The magazine has more than 25000 circulation around Iran. Now I’m focused on translating educational books about Flipped learning. I’m truly passionate about what I’m doing and enthusiastic to learn and explore about it.
