I graduated from TAFESA in 1993 as a Dental Hygienist and worked as a Dental Hygienist in rural, country and city private practices until 2010. In 1996 I was offered a part-time position as a Lecturer’s Assistant with the TAFESA Diploma of Dental Hygiene program. Since then, I have obtained a Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education from theUniversity of South Australia and a Graduate Certificate in Health Promotion from Flinders University. I am currently a Lecturer and Co-ordinator of the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) at TAFESA and have just completing writing the new Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) curriculum. I have developed a special interest in flipped learning and the development of instructional videos to support student learning. I have been honoured to join the University of Adelaide’s Flipped Learning Community of Practice group, led by Sophie Karanicolas. This year I will begin my Masters in Clinical Education at Flinders University.
