I obtained my PGDE (HKIEd) and a MSc degree in Mathematics (CUHK). I had a hard time finding a teaching post in the regular schools. I had being teaching in tutorial centers for 2 years. I started teaching in the regular school system in the academic year 2017/18.

Before I joined this flipped learning certification class, I was exposed to the idea in some workshops organized by some education institution and FlippEducators@HK. I made some flipped videos before starting the academic year 2017/18 and planned to go for flipped mode of instruction. However, my attempt was unsuccessful because of students low participating rate. I believe the key problem is that my students are low-achievers and lack learning motivation. In fact, there is a significant number disciplinary problems in my classroom. (Well, I am quite in a despair.)

I really need some advice from the great educators who implemented flipped learning among low-achievers.
