Colin Fraser

I am a bootmaker by trade, have driven taxis, busses and trucks. I ran a transport company, then became a proprietor of a retail business for several years. I undertook studies to gain an Associate Diploma in Information Studies from our Technical And Further Education system. I began teaching in TAFE, leading development in several technical areas, including MS-Office, Photoshop and creative web page design. I came into contact with my first LMS and other technical learning tools. Several teachers took my courses and I was encouraged to attend Flinders University, Adelaide, and gain a degree. I then completed a Graduate Diploma of Education at Adelaide University in 2004, before becoming a teacher within the State education system. While at Adelaide University, I came into contact with Moodle and found myself drifting towards it over the next few years. I have been writing technical documentation for Moodle.org and have been awarded “Particularly Helpful Moodler” status every year since the introduction of this particular award.
