Alecia Vanden Berg

I earned a BA degree 11 years ago from Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA and immediately took a job teaching high school English at Central Valley Christian School in Visalia, CA. I’m in my 12th year here, and I am still passionate about teaching high school students! I’ve been the English Department Head for 8 years now, and my students have been 1:1 with Chromebooks for 3 years. Outside the classroom, I’ve been involved with drama, soccer, and chapels at our school, and now my primary focus is incorporating technology effectively in my classroom.
