Mireya López Acosta holds multiple degrees in Education, with a focus in Educational Technology, and Psychopedagogical Strategies. She has a  Master of Education and a Ph.D. in Educational Evaluation. She began her career as an Instructional Designer, and is currently the Coordinator of Technologies for Education at the Anáhuac University, where she also teaches teacher training courses and undergraduate classes.

Mireya completed an intensive two-year program of study in the global best practices of Flipped Learning identified by the Academy of Active Learning Arts and Sciences and is part of the first cohort to achieve the Certified Flipped Learning Masterclass Facilitator designation.

She has found flipped learning a great complement for professional career. She believes it’s very gratifying and motivating to see the response of the students almost immediately, to break paradigms, and notice the change in the way they appropriate their learning.
