Description

As students study the events that led to the decline of feudalism in western Europe, this unit of study will not only give your students an in-depth study of the content, but it is designed for students to master the content one lesson at a time. Your students will learn about the political changes that occurred, the bubonic plague, and the Hundred Years’ War. This particular unit is rooted in best practices as outlined by the Global Elements of Effective Flipped Learning. You will download a document that contains links to every component of this Mastery Unit. There are four lessons within this unit. Your students will experience the content through activities, Google Slide decks (4 separate slide decks), and mastery checks (4 separate Google form quizzes that allow you to not only keep track of which students have passed each assessment, but Google forms provide you with instant grading of each quiz). This unit will not only teach your students content, but it will teach them and require from them, the basic skills of knowing how to study, commit information to memory, and be able to apply that knowledge in meaningful ways.
