Description

As students study what life was like in the American Colonies, this unit of study will not only give your students an in-depth study of the content, but it is designed for students to master the content one lesson at a time. This particular unit is rooted in best practices as outlined by the Global Elements of Effective Flipped Learning. There are five lessons within this unit. Your students will experience the content through activities, Google Slide decks (5 separate slide decks), and mastery checks (14 separate Google form quizzes that allow you to not only keep track of which students have passed each assessment, but Google forms provide you with instant grading of each quiz). This unit will not only teach your students content, but it will teach them and require from them, the basic skills of knowing how to study, commit information to memory, and be able to apply that knowledge in meaningful ways.
