Global Elements of Effective Flipped Learning

The Global Elements of Effective Flipped Learning (GEEFL) is a tool that defines the essential building blocks of a successful flipped classroom. In 2018 the non-profit Academy of Active Learning Arts and Sciences (AALAS) engaged a cohort of 100 experienced Flipped Learning educators from 49 countries to define the global best practices of Flipped Learning.

The GEEFL table below makes the best practices in the AALAS Global Standards framework easily accessible and actionable. The GEEFL divides the AALAS framework into 12 color-coded families, critical elements, short descriptions, and resources you’ll need to develop mastery of the best practices. NOTE: Click the center of each element to see details and options.
