I first graduated in 2001 with a PGDipEd. I have experience teaching from New Entrants (5 year olds) right through to Intermediate – year 7 & 8 (12 – 13 year olds). I have taught in a range of schools in Auckland and have been lucky enough to also teach in England for a year. Six years ago I decided to change schools – moving from being a Team leader to being one of two teachers opening new e-learning classes at my current school. A year later I decided to go back to University and complete my Masters in Education specialising in e-Learning. I managed to do this part time while teaching. At the end of 2017 I finished my Masters degree at Massey University. Last year I completed the Level One Certification in Flipped Learning.
Through my Masters I have read and learnt many new things. There has been a lot of new learning I have implemented
or trialed in my classroom. I see education continually changing and we need to keep up with it. I like to learn and I like challenges
