Having graduated from Cambridge University with Class I Natural Sciences degree, I obtained my PGCE (Science with Biology) from Cambridge University, UK in 1996 and my Masters in Science Education from London University, UK in 2000. I taught for 10 years in UK in two schools, 2 years in Holland and 5 years in Australia as a Science Teacher. I am currently teaching Science (with senior classes in Biology and Earth & Environmental Science). I have a passion for innovation in pedagogy and look to promote deep understanding in my students so they are equipped for success in the school setting and as life-long learners. Professionally I strive to collaborate with colleagues to encourage sharing of best practise and wish to support and mentor teachers in this demanding profession.
