I finished my language degree in 2003 and since 2005 I’ve been teaching German as a foreign language in secondary schools in Italy. I’ve worked in different types of schools and what I noticed in every school was the difficulties of students learning at the same pace. It was impossible to bring all the students to the same success. This is why I’ve started studying new approaches and strategies in order to differentiate as much as I could the possiilities for my students to get closer to the subject. I always apply play techniques in the teaching of German as a foreign language and for a few years I’m studying and experiencing the flipped teaching/learning strategy because I really want to motivate my students to have the sense of the language and of the culture that we study.
