I obtained my BS in Mathematics with Secondary Ed Certification from Desales University in Center Valley, PA. Shortly there after I continued my education and obtained a MS in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. I taught mathematics in PA for 4 years before moving to my current school, Lawrence High School in Lawrenceville, NJ. I have been at Lawrence for the past 8 years, teaching a mix of Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Algebra 2 Honors and SAT prep. This year I completed my Supervisory Certification from Seton Hall before giving birth to my twins, Kaycee and Karli. I first learned about the flipped classroom when I saw Jon and Aaron speak at the BLC conference in 2011. They peaked my interested and I am eager to try it in my classrooom. Since I am a math teacher and in a 1-to-1 district, the flipped classroom model seems like a good fit.
