Kirsten Martin

I obtained my BS in Biology in 1989 from University of California, Davis and my Single Subject Life Sciences Teaching Credential in 1990 from California State University, Chico. I taught high school biology 1990-1992. I was certified as an ophthalmology assistant and worked in ophthalmology doing drug trials and general assisting of the ophthalmologist. I got my Registered Nursing License in 1996 and my Masters Degree in Cardiovascular Nursing in 1998 from University of California, San Francisco. I worked as an RN on a cardiac telemetry unit until I began teaching nursing at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg, California. I have taught nursing continuously since. Currently, I teach at Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado.
