My name is Eric Schleutermann. I have been teaching for 22 years. I teach Eighth Grade History and am the Student Facilitator at Creekside Middle School in Woodstock, IL. As a history teacher I have a passion for helping my students to understand why things happened and their cause and effect relationship. I previously was a grant coordinator for a Teaching American History Grant from the US Department of Education for four years and created specific course content directed toward history teaching strategies. I received my bachelors’ degree from Rockford University. I have a double master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership. I am currently certified in Flipped Global 3.0 training 1 and 2 as well as Differentiation Strategies.
