Damian Higgins

I obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physics from the University of Leeds in the UK. I then went on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Education there. I then taught Maths and Science at various government schools in the UK before relocating to Australia in 2002. I continued to teach Maths and Science and moved into school leadership at Heatherton Christian College as Deputy Principal. In 2015 I moved to Queensland as inaugural Principal of a new school (Discovery Christian College) and after spending three years establishing this school, I moved back to Melbourne to take on my current role as Principal at Northside Christian College. I still teach senior school maths and I am passionate about the Flipped Learning movement and ready to collaborate and share with educators both within my own school and across the globe.
