Christopher Landry

I have been teaching for 13 years as a science teacher for grades 7 and 8. I am currently at Memorial Intermediate school in Fitchburg, Mass. I have a Master of Education focusing on Middle School, and I am certified in Flipped Level 1, as well as a ChangeMaker for Ashoka, John Collins Writing Program, and UDL lesson planning. I use Standards Based Grading integrated with the Flipped Environment, and I am have a science club, called the Science Society, that focuses on Tech and Engineering in Environmental Science. I have been working with a flipped environment for 5 years now, working in a city district with high low-income students, and a high population of ELL students as well. I love using technology as a tool to help my ELL students as well as my students on IEP’s find resources to help them be more successful.
